I’m Lisa, I currently live between Cheltenham and Gloucester but cover The Cotswolds and beyond when it comes to wedding photography.
Although i spent the majority of my 20’s working in luxury travel, I’ve spent the last 4 years playing with a variety of types of photography and have found myself falling head over heels in love with capturing personalities, emotions and the power of people. The most fun, exciting and rewarding sessions being weddings, family and childhood shoots along with the curve-ball, to many people, that is pole and aerial arts!
I am a calm, friendly face that’s with you for as long as you need. Along with having a very natural, non intrusive way of capturing your day, I’m also on hand to pass a tissue and round up runaway flower girls.
So many of us feel nervous or uncomfortable about stepping in front of the camera and I have complete and utter empathy for you on that one (I see myself as Chandler from Friends and his photoshoot failures). I step outside of my comfort zone every now and again, get in front of the camera myself and try to establish what i can do, as your photographer, to make the experience an enjoyable one. I will give you cues and direction and never put you into awkward or forced poses.
During our consultation meeting we will create a list of group photos that you (mainly your mum) would like on the day so we can run through them as quickly and efficiently as possible and get you back to your celebrations. I try to visit your venue in advance and coordinate with them on timings and I will always be available throughout the entire run up to your wedding should you have any questions, want to check an idea with me or just simply get excited!
Your wedding is unique and whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony, an elaborate destination wedding or a secret elopement, I love being involved!
